Dr. A. Faris Waheed, DMD
With well over 15 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Waheed strives to constantly create a positive impact in the lives of his patients by offering personalized, comprehensive, and reliable dental treatments. Since he can remember, he’s always wanted to help others achieve great overall health, and he gained an interest in dentistry because it could help him get them there through their smiles. Not only can he help enhance the appearance of their teeth, but he can also boost their self-confidence, which is incredibly fulfilling for him.
Dr. Waheed attended the University of the Pacific for his undergraduate studies before studying at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for his dental doctorate. Over time, he’s also undergone various continuing education courses prioritizing topics like root canal treatment, dental implants, Botox and dermal fillers, oral sedation, and Invisalign. He’s even a proud and active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, SPEAR Education, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Away from the office, Dr. Waheed lives with his wife Dr. Rubina Azam—a beloved pediatrician in the community—and their two wonderful children. Other than taking care of smiles, he enjoys being with family, cooking, reading, hiking, and jet skiing.
Dr. Amanda M. Panousis, DMD
Dr. Panousis enjoys being able to help patients achieve their best smiles while also creating a pleasant and comfortable experience for them during their appointments. Being able to provide stress-free and effective dental care is incredibly important to her, and she does everything she can to make sure her patients feel confident and excited to continue maintaining their pearly whites. Dentistry also allows her to build strong relationships with her patients, which is something she values greatly.
Following her studies at the University of North Carolina, Dr. Panousis attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry to obtain her dental degree. To this day, she remains committed to undergoing continuing education courses to refine her skills and knowledge while remaining up to date with the latest advancements in the field.
Whenever you don’t find her at the office, Dr. Panousis spends quality time with her friends and loved ones. On most weekends, she’ll typically be found cooking, hiking, kayaking, or visiting the beach!
